The Arkansas Insurance Department announced that a public hearing has been scheduled for Sept. 14, 2006, on whether Insurance Commissioner Julie Benafield Bowman should adopt Emergency Rule 50, “Producers Continuing Education,” as a permanent Rule.
The hearing will take place at 1:00 p.m. in the First Floor Hearing Room, Arkansas Insurance Department, 1200 West Third Street, Little Rock, Ark.
All interested persons are encouraged to attend the public hearing and present, orally or in writing, statements, arguments or opinions on this Emergency Rule 50.
Persons wishing to testify should notify the Legal Division as soon as possible, and are requested to submit intended statements in writing in advance. Written comments are encouraged.
