Dallas-based Republic Companies Group Inc., a regional provider of personal and commercial property and casualty insurance products, announced that Parker W. Rush, president and chief executive officer of Republic will preside over The NASDAQ Stock Market Closing Bell at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Aug. 2, 2006.
“Our debut as a NASDAQ-listed company in August 2005 marked a milestone of which we are very proud, and we are pleased to celebrate our first anniversary of that date at the Closing Bell ceremony at NASDAQ,” stated Mr. Rush.
