USG Insurance Services Inc, a national broker of commercial insurance headquartered in Tampa, Fla., announced that Jodi Berger was promoted to assistant branch manager for its Arlington, Texas, branch. In addition, Heath McCasland was recently promoted to associate underwriter.
Berger was a senior underwriter at USG for the past four years. Prior to her career at USG, Berger was the director of underwriting for Gainsco, an excess and surplus lines property and casualty company, for over 21 years. Berger will now oversee the Texas branch while USG seeks a new branch manager for one of its 11 branch offices.
McCasland has been with USG for over a year and will specialize in quoting new and renewal business for a select group of agents.
The Texas branch has 17 employees. These moves are the most recent changes that USG has implemented in its plan to expand operations nationwide.
