Insurance brokerage and risk management consulting firm Beecher Carlson announced it has expanded its national health care practice with the appointment of Ida D. Havens as senior vice president. She will be based in Houston, Texas.
Havens brings over 25 years of experience to Beecher Carlson with expertise and specialization in the health care industry. She will focus on the development and production of health care clients and assist with the placement of existing healthcare accounts.
Prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Havens was employed by Aon as a managing director for health care in the Southwest, where she was responsible for the placement and servicing of hospital and physician accounts. She has also held senior positions with the health care teams of Myron F. Steves & Company, Gallagher and Marsh.
Beecher Carlson’s national health care practice focuses exclusively on the health care provider and payor industry, working with clients throughout the United States to protect and enhance their capital through the mitigation of risk and provision of innovative client-centric services.
