The Texas Department of Insurance Division of Workers’ Compensation (TDI) will hold a public hearing on Nov. 5, 2007, in the Room 100 at the Hobby Building, 333 Guadalupe Street in Austin.
The public hearing will begin at 1 p.m. and TDI will take testimony on the following rules:
CHAPTER 134 – Benefits – Guidelines for Medical Services, Charges and Payments
Subchapter A – Medical Reimbursement Policies
§134.1 Medical Reimbursement (Amendment)
§134.2 Incentive Payments for Workers’ Compensation Underserved Areas (New)
Subchapter C – Medical Fee Guidelines
§134.203 Medical Fee Guideline for Professional Services (New)
§134.204 Medical Fee Guideline for Workers’ Compensation Specific Services (New)
These proposed rules were published in the Texas Register on October 5, 2007, and may be viewed on the TDI Web site at www.tdi.state.tx.us/wc/rules/proposedrules/toc.html. The comment period for these rules will close on Nov. 5, 2007, at 5 p.m.
