Shawn Fabors recently joined Dallas-based RISC Inc. as chief sales officer, the company announced.
Fabors has worked in the financial services and insurance industry since 1992. Prior to joining RISC, he served as the territory sales director of a leading national property and casualty insurance company. During his tenure, Fabors was consistently ranked in the top 10 percent of his peer group nationally for new business growth and renewal retention. He also held nominated positions on advisory groups providing insight and ideas to the Executive Management Team.
Fabors began his insurance career in 1998 working for a large well-known international property and casualty insurance carrier. The first seven years he held positions of branch manager and business development manager of the Premium Finance Operation. Ultimately, he was promoted to the regional manager of Financial Institutions. Fabors also spent two years as a senior broker for a national wholesale insurance brokerage firm based in Dallas.
