Houston-based insurance agency Bowen, Miclette & Britt has named Dan Persha as director of Environmental Risk Management.
With 30 years of commercial insurance brokerage experience, Persha specializes in heavy casualty, energy and environmental services placements.
Paul Cerone, chief operating officer of Bowen, Miclette & Britt commented: “Dan’s extensive experience with risk management for brownfields development projects, petroleum storage tank facilities, demolition and construction services, waste management and petrochemical industries enables us to expand our environmental risk management service capabilities to our clients throughout Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana.”
Persha holds Certified Insurance Counselor and Certified Professional Insurance Agent designations. He has served as a board member for the Texas Association of Business Chamber of Commerce, on the Texas State Workers Fund Agent Advisory Board, as president of Professional Insurance Agents of Houston and on state committees of the Independent Insurance Agents of America.
A participant in Brownfields Pilot Forums in Houston and Dallas, Persha is a frequent presenter at local, national and regional conferences sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
