There was a letter sent stating that Baldor was going to be sending the settlement checks on Late November which it never happened. I than called the Baldor “Copeland” person and he stated that checks were going to be send after December 7th!! Ok I guess they’re not going to be honest about the Settlement! This was said just to keep the Labor Department off their rear. I have got with others that are still waiting on this.
Marilyn and Yvonne, on behalf of Baldor employees in NC, we wish you the best in dealing with these scumbags. The location I work at in NC has routinely kept women and minorities out for the 12 years I have worked there. For a few years, employees had to be at work 10 minutes early for a “meeting”. We had to write down 8 hours and 10 minutes on our timecards but only got paid for 8 hours. They only promote friends/family with no regard for seniority. Baldor is one of the sleaziest companies in the USA, ran by crooks from the top down. They are a prime example of why unions will make a comeback in this country.
Baldor in Marion, NC are discriminating. They don’t care about their employees, I mean the minorities one which is only like 3 minorities…Elroy you are so right they don’t give a —- about seniority it’s all who they want or know it doesn’t matter if you have all the qualifications.
