What dealership would let a guy test drive a brand new SUV without a salesman going along? They need to review their test driving procedures. I hope they throw the book at this drug head and also the woman who had the rocks since she was obviously a drug dealer.

Agent, you would be surprised what some car dealerships will do. If you have an empty weekend and can stand to deal with a day of sales pitches, go visit a variety of dealerships and go on some test drives. I once went to a Bimmer dealership and had the salesman toss me keys to four different cars and tell me to come back after I tried them all out. There are always some that fail to ask for my drivers license, and overnight test drives are commonplace. I’ve had a dealer give me a car to drive for a weekend. Other dealers hand out demos to all their sales staff, their lawyer and their kid’s high school coach.

Every agent and dealer should read this and think what would have happened if the guy got hopped up and seriously hurt some people in a bad wreck.

Agent, read the article. The guy drove the vehicle without permission – he basically stole it.

I could see maybe swapping a KIA for 2 rocks of crack, but I would think a Chevy Tahoe would bring in at least 5 rocks!

I resent that, my KIA is worth at least 4 rocks.

After all, it was Government Motors and probably built in China. He must have needed those rocks pretty bad to get his fix. He needs to be put in a cell with Tyrone and learn how to be a “kid” again.

Kind of adds new meaning to the Chevy Truck “Like a Rock” commercials…
