As always deflecting criticism by pointing the finger at a Republican for something, anything to take the focus off his administration’s massive shortcomings. 6 people managed to sign up on day 1, while mllions get notices that the plan they liked can’t be kept. Of course that is because the evil insurance giants had bad plans. Obamacare is here to save you from the evil insurance tyrants. Yes, Mr. President, it’s going really well. Keep up the sales pitch.

All I can say is thank god this country was built by men with fortitude and a can-do attitude. If America was being founded by the men of today we would never become the United States of America. The greatest generation seemed to have spawned a bunch of losers from their gene pool. Bring on the immigrants and refugees with their positive attitude and willingness to work hard and work together. Whining will never give white men back the country… leadership is what it takes.

You placing the blame on a gene pool sounds like Obuma placing blame on Bush. Where a person ends up in life has nothing to do with genes. It’s about every decision YOU make every day. You end up poor, look in the mirror. If an immigrant comes over spreading his communist crap, what good is he? Take responsibility for yourself, unlike this pass the buck dung heap we have in the white house. I said the night he was elected the first time that it removed every excuse that every single black person in America has for not succeeding. Unfortunatly he decided to take the Jessie Jackson and al sharpen path and talk about how the white man beat him down while standing there as the most powerful man in the world. What a hypocrit.

Because he’s black, he’s supposed to lift the entire black race up to success?

        You’re a racist, bigoted, dope.

Libby- Your comment about HIM lifting the entire black race up is whats wrong with the progressive ideas. You can’t lift a man up thats not willing to lift himself. If you will just get that one concept. You see in order for the government to lift one person up they have to knock another down. Making the black race feel they are where they are because of rich white people doesn’t help them at all. The poor black kid can make the same good decisions a poor white kid makes can’t he? Or are you a racist?

You do realize that Libby asked you a question, not making a comment, right?

She was making a point that you are a bigoted racist for stating that President Obama’s election, “removed every excuse that every single black person in America has for not succeeding.” It sounds like you believe that he should be able to lift the entire black race to become successful so they will no need to make any excuses for not succeeding.

There is your reading comprehension lesson of the day.

I agree with your assessment about making good decisions. The problem lies with realistic opportunities. The reason Dr. Ben Carson’s story is so celebrated is because it is so extraordinarily rare. If poor kids, especially black, became that successful with any regularity, he would just be another poor, black kid who became successful. How often does the media celebrate the middle class kid who became a successful doctor, lawyer, executive, etc.? Oh yeah, NEVER!! Because it happens all the time.

“The cancellation notices apply to people whose plans changed after the law was implemented or don’t meet new coverage requirements. The president said those changes ensure that all Americans are able to get quality coverage.”

As IF we didn’t have quality coverage in the past. Most Americans had very good insurance with options they chose to have or not have such as maternity. The reason people are getting these notices is because maternity wasn’t part of their CHOSEN plan and now does not CONFORM to the new more expensive plans that Obama is forcing us to have. And just let me clarify – yes women in the past paid more for their premium because women typically go to the doctor more than men – but now men will be paying the higher premium too just as the men did and if you thought the government would switch it the other way around and lowering the premium to balance out the playing field – I have a bridge in Brooklyn I’d like to sell you. I love the way the democratic spin doctors, including Obama try to spin this in the positive – 6 people signed up the first day – 250 the next! (((Crickets))) And, what kind of security did those people who actually signed have on all their personal information? If I were any of them I’d be canceling my credit/debit card and opening new bank accounts. People are starting to wake up and smell the coffee these days and the democrats are looking pretty stupid for thinking that we are this dumb to belive anything that comes out of Obama’s mouth. Obama couldn’t possibly be this clueless but I’ll give him credit where credit it due – he is one hell of a liar.

No, I am sorry it is not. People over the childbearing years should NOT have to pay for those who are. It wasn’t a constant before the ACA but it is now because IT IS THE LAW. I am an agent who not only is licensed to write P&C but also health care so, Celtica; I do know what I am talking about. And for men and women who decide that aren’t going to have children or for the ones who never were blessed with any they shouldn’t have to pay for someone else’s maternity, invitro fertilization either which is now included in ALL the ACA plans. And this is precisely why I have clients who are calling our office who are totally outraged that their premiums have gone up by 56%. The plans that are being offered out of the ACA by BC/BS, Humana and the like are still in the same price range as the ACA. Obama is the biggest liar! Didn’t he say when running that he’d be reducing premiums by $2500? And all the blind sheep believed him and voted for him not only once but twice. IF Obama would have told the truth (which he wouldn’t know if it bit him in his butt) that a good percentage of people would loose their health care, their doctors, and the hospitals that they affiliated with this all would be a nonissue right now.

Unless you were hatched or born in a field in China and your mother slapped you on her back, then childcare expenses were incurred somewhere along the line for everyone.

People over the childbearing years? Only women past menopause are not capable of having a child. Men are, even those with vasectomies.

Funny how the GOP wants to protect the life of an unborn child but doesn’t actually think through how these expenses are paid when the child in born and fed until they are 18.

Maybe that’s why the GOP lost elections. Twice.

“Unless you were hatched or born in a field in China and your mother slapped you on her back, then childcare expenses were incurred somewhere along the line for everyone.” Where do you come up with this logic? Perhaps in your family has been taking hand outs from the government; but not in mine. No one in my family has ever been on welfare or any other entitlement that the government shells out. My grandparents migrated to this county and guess what? They found jobs and worked their entire lives until they retired. I see you have that entitlement mentality. No wonder you love Obama so much.

Yes, men can father children all of their lives pretty much and some do – but not all choose too and it’s a choice that most men who have a once of sense take note of when they choose to have unprotected sex but there’s a lot of folks out there that just keep popping those babies out because it’s part of the culture they were born into. Yes, the Republican’s all want to take away all the benefits for all these folks who are on welfare that know how to work the system and keep popping babies out like Pezz candies. Here’s a clue – get off welfare and become a hard working self reliable person like the rest of us who are tired of the folks that think that they are entitled to everyone’s else’s money. It’s not the government paying these people who want to sit on their butts all day and do nothing it’s the TAXPAYERS who are funding their living and maybe we’re getting a little tired of the entitlement crowd that Obama loves to cater too. Obama never had a real job in his life and grew up pretty darn well. His mother was the president of a bank for goodness sake. What does he and his wife know about poverty? Not much. And the ONLY reason Obama got elected twice is all the idiots that believe all the now broken promises and still believed that they’d be getting their insurance premiums reduced. His approval rating was, last I checked 42%. That speaks volumes now doesn’t it? People are starting to wake up and facts are facts.

Do you know who Benjamin Carlson is? He was born into poverty – his mother was illiterate but he and his brother went on to do great things. Mr. Benjamin became a neurologist. His mother broke the chain of poverty with her sons. Mr. Carlson has been many TV channels and he sees the light and I’m sure you don’t like him one bit because he speaks the truth and he sees Obama for exactly what he is: a liar who duped you all into voting for him – not only once but twice. The jokes on you.

You can also carve up the list to exclude injuries from drunken drivers and gunshot wounds — and the basic stupidity clause in inadvertently causing your own accident. Really — should everyone else have to pay when you required a visit to the ER when the nail gun went through your palm?

But then none of us really know what type of medical situation awaits us. To carve out this or that because it doesn’t apply to your current siuation is just short sighted.

This is exactly what Obama’s plan is all about. Everyone has health insurance, and as I have said before I support that, but this is clearly a distribution of wealth – nothing more. Call it what you want to but those of us who liked our insurance and can no longer keep it because it doesn’t meet the ACAs requirements and are being given plans that have a 56% increase are paying for the people who are going to be on the subsides. BO’s approval rating is 39%. Why do you suppose that is? If the American public would have known that millions would be loosing their existing plans to only now have to sign up for the “One Plan Fits All” plan do you think BO would have won a 2nd term. I highly doubt it. Elections have consequences. BO is being exposed to the liar he always was – I’ve never believed a single word that came out of his mouth when he was running back in 2008 and he’s only confirmed what a liar he is.

According to Agent, it is because there were overseas fighting terorists.

Why do the righties on this blog keep bringing up President Obama’s approval rating? He cannot be re-elected and the Republican approval rating has been at least 10 points lower than years for as long as I can remember.

If elections have consequences, then what does it say that the Democrats gained seats in both Houses of Congress and retained the Presidency? What were the consequences to the Republicans?

Actually only a woman can cause it or allow it depending on how you look at it. Before you go down the we only want abortion for rape route, only 2-3% of abortions are due to rape. So when you think about it, if a woman simply says no to sex they have all the power right? I mean you can go down the street and buy some sperm if you want and really dont need us when you think about it. I mean if we “cause” it like you said, shouldn’t a man actually have a say in you killing it in the womb? That’s right….it’s your body…right?

Abortion and maternity should both be options – at least we agree on something. Libby, you are a piece of work but I’m not going to stoop to your ignorance.

This is what Dr. Benjamin Carlson had to say:

It is very clear at this point in time that Obamacare won’t work. We all need to stop, take a deep breath, and recognize that it is imperfect. Rather than making a political war over this, it is an excellent time for all partisan fronts uniting & working together to create something that works for everyone yielding results that we can all be proud of. We have already spend twice as much Per-Capita on health care than anyone else in the world, therefore the idea that we need to engage in more revenue enhancement is clearly not the right path; instead we should be looking what is efficient and ultimately return the responsibility of health care to the patient and the healthcare provider. The more we involve bureaucracy the more inefficiency we introduce into the system. On the other hand, if we make patients primarily responsible for their own healthcare it will force the healthcare industry to be more transparent and will bring about an imminent return of the free market principles that control costs. The people will need to insist that other plans are carefully considered and not simply accept what government officials are telling them which is that Obamacare is the only possible option.

America is known as an innovative nation. There is no reason we can’t use that creative spirit to provide adequate healthcare for everyone at a truly affordable price.

I honestly believe that President Obama would have been willing to work with the Republicans to address some of the issues with the law, but chose to make it a fight hoping he would lead to him being a one-term President. Another Republican failure.

Obama is a socialist who is imposing his belief system on the whole country with his it’s my way or no way mentality. A typical Chicago thug and we have a few of those sitting in jail right now. Giving millions to the Muslim Brotherhood is grounds for treason and he should be impeached. He is in bed with the enemy but sill liberals just see him as a knight in shining amour. You can’t even fess up to his lies. Period. The blind leading the blind. When this all implodes on itself, because it will and I’ll try not to say “Told ya so!” The 20 years olds aren’t applying for the more expensive ACA and isn’t that who the Democrats were counting on to fund this whole mess? Where do you suppose it’s going to come from? They were even polled and asked if they think Obama lied and they said “yes”. They even get it. You many hate the Tea Party but they aren’t going away. This was once a great country but on Obama’s watch we’ve been down graded twice – mind you. Obama’s rating has tanked to 39%. I don’t even think Jimmy Carter’s approval rating was that low. LOL! BO’s true colors are showing and the world is watching and they must be laughing their butts off. How many millions of the tax payer’s money did the dems invest in a Canadian company for a website that doesn’t work that is a hackers dream? One man had already had his identity stolen, nice going. The ACA navigators don’t require criminal background checks and are old ACORN employees. Yes, these are the folks I want being in charge of my healthcare. NOT!
