National Security Fire & Casualty, a regional insurance company with operations in 10 Southeastern states, has joined Trusted ChoiceSM—the consumer marketing brand established by the Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America’s (IIABA) that highlights the benefits offered by independent agents and brokers. The IIABA said National Security is the 18th Trusted ChoiceSM company or strategic partner.
The consumer marketing brand was created by IIABA and independent agency companies to educate consumers that Trusted ChoiceSM agencies give them access to qualities they value from an insurance provider-choice, customization and advocacy.
Organized in 1959, National Security Fire & Casualty Company is part of The National Security Group Inc., an insurance holding company located in Elba, Ala. The company writes business through approximately 1,500 independent agencies in the Southeast.
National Security is the 11th regional company to become a Trusted ChoiceSM partner, joining California Insurance Group, Cascade National Insurance, Central Insurance Companies, Kentucky National Insurance, MSA Group, Merchants Insurance Group, Ohio Casualty Insurance, Rutgers Casualty Insurance, Selective Insurance Group and Summit Insurance (R.I.).

The Trusted ChoiceSM brand will be promoted nationally in 2003 through a combination of advertising, company ingredient branding, public relations, agency marketing and Internet communications.
