FPIC Insurance Group Inc. of Jacksonville, Fla. announced that Robert E. White, Jr. was elected president of company subsidiary First Professionals Insurance Company Inc. The appointment is effective November 1, 2002.
White joined First Professionals in 2000 and currently serves as executive vice president and COO. He has 35 years of insurance industry experience, specializing in medical professional liability insurance.
David L. Rader will retire from his position as president and CEO of First Professionals effective October 31, and thereafter will continue his association with the company on a consulting basis.
FPIC Insurance Group Inc., through its subsidiary companies, provides professional liability insurance for physicians, dentists and other healthcare providers, primarily in Florida and Missouri. The company also provides management and administration services to Physicians’ Reciprocal Insurers, a New York medical professional liability insurance reciprocal, and third party administration services both within and outside the healthcare industry.
Its insurance subsidiaries include First Professionals Insurance Company Inc., Anesthesiologists Professional Assurance Company, Intermed Insurance Company and Interlex Insurance Company.
