Atlanta-based provider of structural loss estimates and direct repair programs for property insurers, Alacrity Services LLC—owner of ptc-NET(TM)—and Marshall & Swift / Boeckh (MS/B), a provider of building cost data and estimating technology to the property insurance industry, announced a strategic alliance that integrates MS/B’s IntegriClaim(TM) property estimating platform into Alacrity’s national network of credentialed restoration contractors and mitigation service providers.
The integrated offering provides insurers, adjusters, and claim organizations with a Web-enabled end-to-end solution including estimating platforms and direct procurement of structural repairs backed by credentialed restoration contractors. Within the MS/B – Alacrity Alliance, ptc-NET contractors will provide structural loss estimates and approved property repairs using the MS/B estimating technology and pricing, giving clear metrics and savings to property insurers.
The companies noted that insurers benefit from pre-approved, no-haggle pricing, reduced loss adjusting expenses and increased adjuster productivity. Policyholders benefit because losses estimated with MS/B technology can be repaired by a credentialed ptc-NET contractor, and include a three-year guarantee on workmanship and one year guarantee on materials fully warranted by Alacrity Services LLC.
