Brown & Brown Inc. announced it has agreed to the asset acquisition of Rogers and Associates Insurance Inc. of Palm Harbor, Fla., in a transaction effective April 1, 2003.
Rogers and Associates Insurance, with annualized revenues of approximately $1.1 million, is a commercial property and casualty agency that serves the insurance needs of businesses and homeowners primarily in Florida’s Pinellas, Pasco and Hillsborough Counties. Howard and Suzanne Rogers, Linda Baker and their staff will be combining operations with Brown & Brown’s existing Clearwater, Fla. office.
C. Roy Bridges, Brown & Brown regional executive vice president, who is responsible for Brown & Brown’s West Florida operations, noted, “We are quite pleased to have Howard and this quality staff of insurance professionals join us. Their operation further strengthens our Tampa Bay area presence and enhances our goal to better serve the insurance needs of residents and businesses throughout the Tampa Bay region.”
