CHOICE Medical Management Services, Inc. announced that four companies have come together to form an integrated service program called The Alliance – Florida League of Cities, Inc., Unisource Administrators, CHOICE, and Towers Perrin Reinsurance. The Alliance reportedly provides cost-effective insurance solutions exclusively for Florida’s municipal employers and other governmental entities.
The Alliance customizes programs using the resources and expertise of each member company, and customers can select specific services from any company’s total offering.
The Florida League of Cities, which administers the Florida Municipal Insurance Trust, has more than 100 insurance professionals to help government agencies select the best insurance package. The League also offers group buying power, enabling smaller agencies to become self-insured.
Through its retail brokerage group, Towers Perrin Reinsurance, the Alliance helps organizations select the most efficient, cost-effective reinsurance carriers. Unisource Administrators, a third-party administrator, handles the claims management component while CHOICE provides care management services, including an expert workers’ comp network, telephonic and field case management, bill review, pharmacy and return-to-work programs.
“We are delighted to be a part of the Alliance among companies of such a high caliber. We feel the Alliance offers a total insurance solution to municipal and government entities that is unmatched in the state,” says Tom Barrett, president and CEO of CHOICE.
