Jacobson Executive Search is expanding its team to better serve
the insurance, healthcare and financial services industries in the southern region of the United States. The specialty search firm has named W. Barry Prather, vice president – executive search consultant for the Southern region.
“The expansion of our team illustrates the continued development of our practice,” said Gregory Jacobson, CEO of Jacobson Executive Search, about Prather joining the search firm. “The addition of Barry allows us to more thoroughly serve our clients and the industry in the South.”
Based out of the firm’s Atlanta office, Prather’s role will be to provide
talent acquisition consulting services for senior-level roles. He will
handle search assignments for vice presidents, C-level executives and board member positions. Prather will also be involved with increasing the market visibility of Jacobson Executive Search in this geographic area.
Prather brings more than 20 years of executive management and consulting experience to his new role with Jacobson Executive Search.
In his most recent position, Prather served as the president of the financial services marketing firm Garrett, Prather & Co., Inc., which merged with National Financial Partners, Inc., in 1999. Prior to that, Prather served in various leadership roles, including Partner and Regional Director of the Actuarial, Benefits and Compensation practice for Ernst & Young.
