The Mack Group Inc., an independent insurance agency located in Boca Raton, Fla., recently merged into its operations the Coverall Concepts Group Inc., also of Boca Raton.
Coverall Concepts was a $10 million premium agency specializing in providing insurance products to the restaurant industry. The deal puts The Mack Group Inc. over $40 million in premium.
The Mack Group Inc. provides all types of insurance and specializes in habitational, construction and gaming risks. “We have been getting more into the restaurant arena and this deal makes us a player with the restaurant market,” Paul Mack, president of The Mack Group Inc., said.
Jeff Caminiti, former owner of Coverall Concepts and now senior vice president of The Mack Group, said his motivation for the merger was two-fold. “The Mack Group has many standard markets for us to now make part of our marketing plan. In addition, they have been doing a great job at cross selling their other products to their clients, another great service that I can now add to my way of doing business.”
The Mack Group Inc. maintains Florida offices in Boca Raton, Melbourne and Miami.
