Beecher Carlson Holdings Inc., of Atlanta has announced the appointment of Jeffrey Smith as a managing director. Smith will focus on large account sales and recruitment of talent.
For 15 years, prior to joining Beecher Carlson, Smith held sales and leadership positions with Aon Risk Services in New York, San Francisco, and Atlanta. He provided complex risk financing advice to large accounts in the healthcare and technology sectors.
Prior to Aon, Smith was with the Hobbs Group Inc. in Greenwich, Conn. as a producer and account executive. His background includes corporate risk management appointments in the healthcare and hospitality industries.
Beecher Carlson Holdings Inc. offers insurance brokerage, captive management and risk management consulting services to its clients. The privately held company is headquartered in Atlanta, with operations in Honolulu, Los Angeles, Denver, Princeton New Jersey, Burlington Vermont, The Cayman Islands, Nashville, and Hamilton Bermuda.
