Esurance, a direct-to-consumer auto insurance company, has announced plans to open a new Tampa Sales Center and to hire 25 sales representatives.
The new sales center will supplement activities at the company’s Tampa Regional Sales Office. It also has a sales center in Sioux Falls, SD.
The Tampa sales center will handle East Coast sales inquiries, while the Sioux Falls location will continue to handle sales inquiries for the rest of the country.
Esurance a subsidiary of White Mountains Insurance Group Ltd. (NYSE: WTM), provides personal auto insurance direct to consumers online and through online agents. A spokesperson said Esurance will add more staff to the Tampa sales center throughout 2005.
