Overcoming the challenge of legacy systems and enabling business innovation in the insurance industry will be key subjects discussed by Harlosh, an insurance technology solutions provider, during a presentation on the “Evolution of Technology” at the May 25 to 27 IBM IAA Insurance Solutions Conference in Orlando, Fla. at the Wyndham Orlando Resort.
The annual IAA conference is designed by insurers who are looking to bridge the gap between business and IT in the insurance industry.
“The annual IAA event in Orlando is a great showcase for Harlosh, as we and some of the world’s largest insurers come together to discuss business-critical issues in the insurance market,” Martin Earley, Harlosh’s commercial director said. “Technology spend in the sector is at risk of becoming tactical rather than strategic as the market resorts to ‘band aid’ solutions rather than more strategic long-term investment. Events like this aim to ensure that market participants can share best practice and make the right long-term decisions about IT spend appropriate to the needs of their business.”
The conference immediately follows the ACORD/LOMA Insurance Systems Forum May 22-24, also taking place in Orlando, www.acordlomaforum.org.
