Benefit Planners Inc. of San Antonio, Texas has announced the opening of an Atlanta sales office and the appointment of Brian Greenwood as vice president of sales for the Southeast. Greenwood will oversee business development in a five-state area.
“Greenwood brings a wealth of experience to the position and will contribute greatly to our continued growth throughout the United States.” Omar Rodriguez, Benefit Planners president said.
Greenwood has 28 years of sales and marketing experience. He was previously regional director with North American Health Plans. He will head the new office at 5 Concourse Parkway, Suite 3000 in Atlanta.
Greenwood’s health care industry career began with Jefferson Pilot’s group division. His varied career includes positions with Cairnstone, a Miami- based managing general underwriter for self-insured medical plans, and USBenefits, based in Costa Mesa, Calif., where he managed a 14- state area.
Founded in San Antonio in 1982, Benefit Planners Inc. is a health benefits administrator, providing claims, administrative and health management services to more than half a million medical plan participants nationwide.
