common sense? more like folks are lawsuit happy!….and you wonder why lawyers go for the $$$ in their own eyes….this is why we have a backup of cases in court…frivilous lawsuits and in this case fraudlent, even though she was not at fault….it amazes me that the courts have taken so long to finally realize that it costs them money and the other party/insurance…where does it end?!

Makes you really wonder about the quality of the jury pool in Mississippi. They missed the boat on this case TWICE.
If the in-bred Mississippi juries give millions for no reason at all you can see why Scruggs is frothing at the mouth to try his meritless flood claims as wind claims
Jury Pool vs. Gene Pool…. say no more…
You get the same type juries in any jurisdiction of this country, not just Mississippi. Thats why trial lawyers are everywhere. I bet you see billboards and backs of yellow pages filled with trial lawyer adds where you live too. You have the same issues as Mississippi in all jurisdictions.
