Carol Everhart, vice president for BB&T-Iler Wall & Shonter Insurance in St. Petersburg, Fla., has been chosen to serve on the Citizens Property Insurance Corp. board of governors.
Nominated by Senate President Ken Pruitt R-Port St. Lucie, Everhart currently serves on the board of directors of the Professional Insurance Agents of Florida and represents PIA on the Citizens Market Accountability Advisory Committee. She had previously served on the Governor’s Task Force to review service and claims issues resulting from the 2004/2005 hurricanes.
Everhart has more than 25 years’ experience in the insurance community. She specializes in commercial residential coverage and received her CIRMS designation from the National Community Association Institute in 2004.
