North Carolina Officials arrested and charged a Benson man with fraudulently burning a dwelling, burning personal property and obtaining property by false pretense.

Franklin Lee Hollis, 68, of 3394 Woods Crossroads Rd., was processed at the Harnett County Jail and is being held under a $10,000 bond.

N.C. Department of Insurance investigators allege that in July, Hollis deliberately burned his residence at 75 Hodges Chapel Rd. in Benson in order to collect insurance money.
