Okay, so now that we’re denying coverage to people running insurance commissions, how soon until we fix the system so it’s safe for insurance companies to offer coverage?

they didn’t deny him coverage, that is a decision made during the claim process. His carrier made a business decision to minimize their risk, and chose not to renew his policy. Now he will be in the same system he runs, “what’s good for the goose is good for the gander”.

I guess if you can afford to live on Hilton Head Island and choose to “dare” fate, you can probably also afford to pay the freight for wind and flood exposure that you have exposed yourself to!

I had a policy with united insurance of america ,had roof damage. my local representative told me to get my roof fixed ,that they would take care of me. I got two estimates.one for $6000&one for 3950.Idid not know what the insurance company would pay me. Thaey ultimately sent me acheck fora little ver $800.Ithen filed a second claim for moree money . They denied my second claim. I would not recommend united casualty to anyone.
