West Virginia officials indicted a Raleigh County woman earlier this month on one felony count of filing a fraudulent insurance claim.
Robin Grose, 28, of Beckley, W. Va., allegedly filed a claim with her insurance company, United States Automobile Insurance Company, stating her car had been stolen, when it was actually wrecked by an acquaintance.
Grose was indicted Sept. 11. If convicted she faces one to 10 years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. No arraignment or trial date has been set at this time.
