The Katrina Litigation Group announced its formation in Mississippi to proceed where the Scruggs Katrina Group began with major litigation on behalf of policy holders.

This group is comprised of the Barrett Law Office, P.A., Nutt & McAlister, PLLC and Lovelace Law Firm and will invite partners as needed to continue offering representation to its clients.

“Our goal is to keep up the momentum in key program areas such as the RICO suit and individual cases,” said KLG lead attorney Don Barrett. “This will be the mechanism by which Americans will come to understand the full extent of wrongdoing by the insurance industry. Our clients will be justly compensated for their losses.”

Zach Butterworth together with the law firm of Hesse and Butterworth, PLLC of Bay St. Louis, Miss., have also joined our team, Barrett said.
