Sumter, S.C. Fire Capt. Brian Horton says one of the biggest fires he can remember has engulfed a former furniture warehouse near downtown.
Authorities say it took nearly three hours to get the blaze under control Monday afternoon at the former Korn Industries complex.
Horton says the cause of the fire hasn’t been determined, but investigators don’t think it was set on purpose.
Horton says one firefighter suffered minor burns and was taken to the hospital. No other injuries were reported.
