Giant insurance broker Brown & Brown has acquired MEW Custom Staffing, L.L.C., a Tampa, Fla. human resource and outsourcing firm that does business as Custom Outsourcing.
C. Roy Bridges, regional executive vice president of Brown & Brown, Inc. and Beth Bennett, principal in MEW Custom Staffing, L.L.C., made the announcement of the asset acquisition.
Custom Outsourcing serves clients throughout the state of Florida, with annualized revenues of approximately $1.5 million.
Bennett and her staff will combine their operations with those of Brown & Brown’s existing Tampa office, under the leadership of Jack Suber.
