The Hanover Insurance Group Inc. announced that Jerome Guiney has been named regional vice president for commercial lines for the company’s Southeast Region. Guiney will work out of The Hanover’s Atlanta office and will be responsible for the company’s Georgia and Tennessee territories.
Guiney comes to The Hanover from The Hartford where, as assistant regional vice president in the company’s Atlanta office, he was responsible for overseeing sales and underwriting for all property and casualty segments. Prior to that, as a regional sales manager for The Hartford, Guiney was responsible for a five-state Southeast region.
Before joining The Hartford, Guiney served as sales manager at Nationwide, where he was responsible for business development in personal lines and commercial lines, and for life insurance, annuities and mutual funds.
