At this year’s Bridge Day In West Virginia, 200 motorcycle enthusiasts will join parachutists and rappelers.
But a motorcycle ride scheduled across the bridge during the Oct. 18 festival isn’t just a pleasure trip. The West Virginia Motorcycle Safety Program is sponsoring the ride to promote safety awareness.
Program coordinator Joe Tyree says it’s a perfect way to create awareness of motorcycle safety because Bridge Day draws large crowds.
The Bridge Day Commission approved the ride for 200 motorcyclists and passengers.
