Police in Alcoa say their beer sting was a complete failure. They’re delighted.
Authorities had an underage person try to buy beer from 27 businesses, including convenience markets, restaurants and food stores.
The youngster was turned down by clerks at all of them on Friday.
The Daily Times in Maryville quoted a police news release which called the operation “a pleasant failure.”
