Florida Approves 10.3% Rate Hike for Citizens Property

    well, if they say it needs to be 50%, but max increase per state law is only 10%, then expect the following year to go up another 10%. if the state suffers a huge loss from another hurricane prior to reaching the 50% over the next 5 years, it will probably go bankrupt! this is not counting any increase that should be due to cost of living/supplies for rebuilding purposes. i can only imagine the state finally making a realization that they they lost the war with homeowners!

    I have talked to people and heard the businesses that fix sink holes go home to home, tell people they have a sink hole home when they really do not

    A law needs to be out in place that does not allow this and have heavy fines or impose prison time

    Have also talked to people and they are very happy to have their home paid off from Citizens when they really did not even have a sink hole claim

    Get with it Citizensm you know where the clains are that were paid, investigate they and get the money back from the homw owners
