Why are the POS’s who run these mine still alive? Once upon a time trash like Blankenship had to actually worry about their health. Not that I’m advocating violence. Just sayin’ an even playing field would sure help

On the day Chile is rescuing over 30 miners who survived a mine disaster because they had safety equiment – we still operate mines in an unsafe manner. Just another example – we – the US have now become the “third world country” putting greed ahead of the well being of our fellow countrymen!

If we just took Rand Paul’s advice, and eliminated all this pesky regulation, this would all work out. Miners would simply refuse to work at the Massey death camps, and Massey would change its ways, or go out of business. It would probably only take a few hundred or so deaths before the “invisible hand of the market” took over.
