North Carolina Maintains Inspections on Newer Cars

    This whole state auto inspection deal is a racket. Particularly on newer vehicles. Lawmakers are crumbling under the pressure of the auto dealerships and auto shops. These guys need to be removed from office.

      Couldn’t agree more Mickey. I wonder how many of these representatives have a personal interest in this unnecessary mandate.

    The ironic part of the inspections is that cars older than 1996 do not have to have the emissions inspection. What % of the polluter cars are older than 1996? Mikey has it right, it is a racket, plain and simple.
