They may have reached a premature settlement on the life ins dispute, but she should sue him for $20M for wrongful death.

There are 3 sides to every story, without knowing the full details of this I cannot say if I agree with the judgment or not. I am willing to bet that the 203,000 that Larkin received is more than likely already spent. They can sue him but he may have nothing in the way of assets, if he did I am sure that he had time to sell it all before his conviction. They could be saving her a lot of heartache and trying to encourage her to move on and he happy. One never knows.

I agree with you. It probably was spent on lawyers.

as usual, the lawyers get most of it f not all. If she sue’s the lawyes will surely then get what is left. Larkin hould pay for lawyer!

How did anyone manage to make a deal on life insurance proceeds? The beneficiaries are clearly stated. If the court wants to make a decision based on law rather than personal preference, then the husband cannot be allowed to keep any of the funds.

For goodness sakes! She was eleven years old when it happened and only 14 when she settled….where are child protective services??? Couldn’t the courts overturn based on that plus the obvious screw up by law inforcement?
