So many other things could have gone wrong and didn’t. I suspect her injuries occurred the same time she realized she could contact an attorney and sue.

Having experienced an extremely hard landing one time on Delta at Atlanta Hartsfield, you know have no idea how hard it stains your internal organs. I felt them (plural) for days afterwards. They hurt!

It’s important to remember that with the equipment failure that this plane had, people were able to get out of the plane alive with not a serious injury. I can understand that this person may NOT have felt injured at the time and felt it the next day — but “disfigured”…. Really?!?

And it took four years for her to find an attorney willing to make her realize she was disfigured?

You don’t know what happened – she could have bitten through her tongue or something, or jabbed a pen through her leg. People have the right to sue when they are injured. Just because YOU don’t know what her injury is, doesn’t mean she doesn’t have one. Not everyone is out to cheat the system.

I believe the saying is, “Any landing you can walk away from is a good one.” Considering the alternatives, I think this lady should be thankful she’s alive.

And I have to agree, minor bumps and bruises may not be noticed immediately but “disfigured” is a strong claim.

Sometimes it’s hard to convince the Faux News generation that every lawsuit is not frivolous.

While I have my doubts that she’s disfigured from the landing, I think we can agree that IF she were injured, she deserves compensation.

So, Caffiend, if you walked away from a landing with a gash in your head and a severed hand you’d be OK with that? Come on.

The initial reports indicated no serious injury. That does not describe a severed hand, or any severed extremity. So, does anyone want to do a little research and tell us what her disfigurement is?
