Why go to college if you cannot tailgate at your college football games??? I’m one step ahead of the Kentucky ABC enforcement. I transferred out of UK and am proud to now be a Louisville Cardinal! Just using my college education to outsmart them..

BB, you do realize that the Kentucky ABC will be at ALL stadiums, not just UK’s?

What a joke. While I applaud the effort, enforcing DWI laws or underage drinking at NCAA or NFL games/tailgating is an example of law enforcement turning a blind eye. I live in an NFL town. On any given Sunday, hundreds (thousands?) could/should be arrested for DWI and/or underage drinking. The reality is – on a good day – perhaps eight or nine arrests are made, from a stadium that holds close to 100,000.

I hear you, brokie. We see eye-to-eye on this one. Most of these kids are tailgating, going to the game, and then walking back to their dorms and apartments. So, drinking and underage drinking is taking place on college campuses during game day? I can’t believe it! Next you are going to tell me pizza sales are up on game day, too.

They should just call this group The Fun Haters.

Are they arresting just the obnoxious ones or should they just herd everyone leaving the stadium through a breathalizer booth?

I would think trained law enforcement professionals and sobriety checkpoints would discourage many from drinking and driving. Drunken driving is no joke. Zero tolerance. While the s_it-faced fan is blindly driving home, it could be your wife, husband, son, daughter or friend running out to the ATM or 7-11, maimed or killed because a fan was allowed to drink to excess and then drive. Zero tolerance. Sobriety checkpoints.
