Public rewards for DUI reporting is questionable. Good citizenship requires the reporting of DUI’s. It is the right thing to do for public safety. There is no need for a monetary reward. I am surprised that the Safety Council of Palm Beach is not as creative as the Melbourne, FL police, who handed out lottery tickets to speeders on Christmas Day (your luck day!). Palm Beach should spend the money on educating the public on how to report DUI’s with no monetary reward. They need less DUI’s, not a police state!
