Good news. No only does the lack of helmets impact motorcycle insurance rates, it impacts auto insurance rates because of the increased settlements when the auto is at fault. I don’t care what anyone else does until it impacts me personally.

Who in this state put the Govt. in charge of restricting freedoms and liberties? Aren’t they supposed to be protecting our rights and not infringing on them? At some point, Govt. has to relinquish its control over the people back to the people so that WE THE PEOPLE can decide for ourselves what and how WE WANT TO LIVE! Nanny state is for the Europeans, NOT the Country that was founded on FREEDOM! I call on everyone to contact your representatives and urge them to vote for the necessary changes that restores this country to the freedoms, liberties and pursuit of happiness that we were founded on. Hold them accountable for their actions and most of all DO NOT LET THEM make Politics a CAREER!

This proposition should go to the public for a vote! The deep pockets of insurance companies is dictating law to the lawmakers. Unfair and not reprehensive of the will people.

I choose to wear my helmet. It is not my right to tell people they shouldn’t hunt deer or wear a helmet. It is the persons choice. Big brother is too big already!

These people are not in their right minds, let’s look at the causes of many motorcycle head injuries, vehicle/motorcycle accidents. Until the politician’s change the laws that hold vehicle drivers accountable for causing motorcyclists deaths by charging them with murder or manslaughter chargers nothing will change, politicians and lawyers are at fault. We do not need helmets but accountability of vehicle drivers.
