Florida Metro Areas Rated Most Dangerous for Pedestrians

    I will likely get struck by lightning for saying this, but would the average age of the population of Florida have an influence on these statistics??

    I wouldn’t be surprised to see a high correlation between distracted driving violations(texting/cell phone) and pedestrian injuries.

    I am a vision impaired disabled vet who has been fighting with the FDOT for over ten years about their policy of placing street lamp posts in the middle of the sidewalk and calling it ADA Compliant because they only have to provide a 36 inch clearance to the curb for wheelchair access. Google “FDOT Corruption” and read how messed up they are. Florida Government is broken.
