    Doing the right thing does often come with punishment. It isn’t the first time, it won’t be the last time. I hope he gets a better job and soon.

    Libby – it may be a hollow victory but there has to be some accountability somewhere in the political system. It has long since left the DC environment on a national level and I fear the only way to infuse it back into the system is the long grinding of correction at the local and state levels first. The current culture nationally of career politicians and elitist families that produce multiple generations of career politicians is not in the best interest of this country (in total) or of you and I individually. Someone has to start the process and Alabama needs it as much as anywhere else.

      You’ll get no argument from me on that Puzzled. I meant it was hollow because although he won the case, he didn’t get his job back or any compensation for his loss.
