    “Over the past four years, American factories have been disrupted by typhoons in Thailand, hurricanes in the Gulf of Mexico, droughts in Texas, tornadoes in Kentucky, falling water levels across the Great Lakes and flooding in the Northeast,” he said.

    Apparently some people don’t believe we should do all we can to take care of God’s gift of the planet to us. And what a shocker, people in The South don’t like The President. Last I checked, he’s still black and has one of those foreign sounding names.

    Back to the planet – it’s a living thing so why continue to poison and pillage it? And who knows, maybe as we start to clean up our act, we’ll make some positive changes. Though, I fear the damage is already done and I don’t personally believe it can be reversed. I hope I am wrong.

    Uh oh, someone just woke up the climate change deniers. I love love love how Sheldon Whitehouse made Jim Inhofe look like a fool with his speech on the floor of the Senate this week. So glad I caught it on C-SPan, it was my laugh of the week.

      I’m hoping you’re just to young to remember…but I’m still waiting for the next ice age I was promised in the 70’s. Perhaps these deniers simply have a memory beyond the last couple election cycles.

    @Planet
    Why in the world do you have to rely on bigoted and racist stereotypes to make your point? How does that help the discussion?
    You would skin alive any conservative who used the same invectives to prove their point.
    And as far as our Earth goes, I’m skeptical that we can do any real damage. We can’t even build buildings, roads and bridges that last and nature doesn’t reclaim if people don’t keep them up. You honestly think that we are god like enough to be able to damage or destroy what God has given us to use? I say that you should humble yourself and realize your place relative to Gods in our world.

      Aah, excuse me “nuf sed” or whatever – humble yourself right back at you, it’s not a matter of whether the planet will survive or not, it’s a matter of whether or not human beings can live on the planet.

    As long as you libtards don’t bitch about your gas and electricity cost I’m ok with it. Of course everything else will cost more but that’s ok too if you’re a libtard.I guess we can raise the min wage to $100 bucks an hour to make sure everyone makes a “livable wage”. Of course everything else will cost more but that’s ok too if you’re a libtard. I guess we could redistribute some more wealth from the rich 1% and greedy corporations. But since those corporations get their profits by selling products to consumers that might make the cost go up but that’s ok if you’re a libtard.

    Man you guys have got this all figured out on the libtarded side of things don’t ya?
