Laws are beginning to catch up with technology. I count this one as a win for personal privacy.

There has already been a case of a man in Kentucky shooting down a drone hovering over his house. There is no privacy anymore for anyone with these drones.

And in California, legislation has been introduced that would allow first-responders to disable or damage drones that interfere with emergency operations.

Land of fruits and nuts, right Agent?

You think we had privacy before drones? PATRIOT act, cell phone GPS tracking, website cookies, a telescope orbiting earth that takes street-level photographs – the list goes on. I’m just saying that even without drones, there is no privacy anymore.

He was arrested because it is illegal to shoot down drones. The drones are private property. How about them apples?

Air space over a man’s home is also private property. By the way, there have been several near misses over airports between drones and airliners. I can see a home grown terrorist putting a bomb on one of them and hoping they can hit an airliner or get injested into an engine hoping to bring it down.
