This article stated “At the same time, the study says that the total number of crashes increased only about 2.1 percent from 2015.” Well, all of them must have been by my insured(s). Mostly it was deer claims. I have never seen anything like this. It was unreal at the number claims that just kept coming in week after week. And to compound the problem, the insurance companies’ in- network shops and services were not getting the job done. We had several customers that had to keep taking their vehicles back because of substandard work. I never experienced that prior on the level we did either. We had rate increases across the board and even had two companies to “revise” their rates twice last year.
It was a brutal year for us last year with claims–in South Alabama.
