Marijuana? That explains why he couldn’t beat Jack’s record for major wins!

If only he would have stayed away from weed, he could have had a successful career…

Sarcasm or not, he did not have any drug issues until he got hurt, had several operations and recoveries. Won the US Open on a broken leg and a torn ACL. Pretty amazing to me. 683 weeks as world number one, 352 weeks longer than any other player. Keep on ragging on him and I am going to call you a RACIST!

Threatening false accusations against someone in an attempt to stop them from exercising their constitutional right to free speech?

        How un-American.

Hey troll, since you know nothing of the golf world or what has been going on for the past 18 years, when the PGA Tour started their drug testing program, Tiger said “test me first”. That would indicate he had no problems nor did he until he was hurt and had several operations. Let me know when you decide to grow up and be a man instead of an infantile troll.

Weirdly enough, Lance Armstrong was tested hundreds, if not thousands of times and always tested clean.

I am not at all saying Tiger was doping, but volunteering to be tested is not at all recognition of being clean in today’s advanced science of hiding drugs from sensors.

Lance Armstrong passed all his drug tests when he was winning the Tour de France for 6+ years. Do you REALLY think he was clean??

            Agent,

Tiger was always on the grass – It’s hilarious to me that someone you actual like falls into the category of types of people you hate.

What is it that you call people who smoke marijuana? go ahead and refresh my memory?

How could he be so productive while being a brain dead dope head? Something just doesn’t add up… what could it be..

I was never a big fan of Tiger to begin with but to see a person with the talent and potential that he once had implode the way he has is truly tragic to say the least. Doubt that he will ever be a significant factor on the tour again but would not wish his self destruction story on anyone.

Wait a minute this is not Tiger’s fault it is big Pharma that forced him into doing these things, He should jump on the article from earlier today with all of the States suing the pharmaceutical companies for their greed.

Well, I contend it was actually the nefarious marijuana lobby fronted by Cheech, Chong and I am sure George Soros plays a part somehow.

Think about it, Marijuana is a gateway drug* to all sorts of crazy stuff and can turn a reasonable, hard-working person into a wasteoid dope-head bridled with REEFER MADNESS!!

            Agent,
We can do without the personal insults out here. Why don’t you just answer my question like I’m going to answer yours now?

Yes, I attended on Saturday, was there from 6:30 AM until about 6:30 PM. Walked the course and had tent action alongside 17. Paula and Lexi are two of my favorites. Paula played very well on Saturday. She was actually the longest one in her group in the afternoon session during the 4-ball. Such a great event, wearing my shirt tomorrow.

For those who don’t know, Agent likes to give me crap about running in a half marathon (17 years in a row now) back when the Champions Tour would stop by. My entry fee goes to charity. I must be a horrible person for being charitable. PS – I’d always go to the tourney on Sunday, so best of both worlds.

            Cheers!

mrbob, you may be interested to know that Tiger started the Tiger Woods Foundation with his father many years ago to help young, disadvantaged youth learn skills and be successful adults. Thousands of youth have benefitted from the foundation and many, many college graduates in productive careers. Even if he never tees it up again, he has a success story going forward.

How many charities does Bill Cosby have? Michale Jackson reportedly gave over $500 Million to charities. Does that mean they’re success stories too?

I am glad that when he was performing he did some very good things. Unfortunately if you look at his history, one can quickly see that the downward spiral began not long after the death of his father.

Interesting the article still refers to him as a superstar. His record is remarkable, but he’s not played/finished a tournament in quite some time, while younger/newer players are making their marks.

Like many pro athletes, their personal habits or lives often derail their careers. Tiger, unfortunately, is no different. His best days are behind him.

Integrity, I commend Tiger for recognizing his problem and doing something about it. I suspect he may not be able to play again, but he has many other interests including the foundation, restaurant, golf course design business. We should cut him a little slack. He made some mistakes, but he is not a criminal.

Tiger acknowledged his ‘issues’ because he got caught. Quite possibly he is doing something about it as a condition of his arrest and conviction.

Maybe you should stop hitting the pipe before posting in here.
