YouZoom.com has expanded its online insurance offering to give independent agents and brokers in Arizona the ability to market, sell and service insurance policies over the Internet. YouZoom allows Arizona insurance agents to close insurance transactions entirely over the Internet on behalf of multiple insurance companies.
“Consumers in Arizona can go online to compare prices and buy insurance in a matter of minutes, while still maintaining a relationship with a professional insurance agent or broker who can answer questions and help when needed,” President and CEO Kieran Sweeney said.
YouZoom is building a network of independent agent and broker websites where consumers can compare prices, purchase insurance, and manage many aspects of their insurance policies online. Arizona represents the first step in YouZoom’s national expansion, with several additional states to be added later this fall. Other property and casualty insurance products, as well as life insurance, also will be added to the service.
YouZoom is an affiliate of Arrowhead General Insurance Agency Inc., which at $380 million in annual premium revenue, is one of the nation’s largest privately held general insurance agencies.
