Bonneville Brokers Inc., based in Murry, has merged with Salt Lake City’s American Insurance & Investment Corp, a 50-year-old agency that specializes in personal and commercial property and casualty insurance. American Insurance, with 30 employees, will absorb Bonneville’s six employees.
This is the third transaction for American Insurance, which also purchased L.R. House Insurance Agency in Las Vegas and the Aird Insurance Agency in Salt Lake City.
The Bonneville book of business will bring an additional $4 million in premium volume to American Insurance, which boasts between $31 million and $32 million in premium.
