San Francisco-based USI Insurance Services Corporation, the nation’s largest employee benefits broker, announced a strategic alliance with technology and service provider UltraLink. Costa Mesa, Calif.-based UltraLink will provide web-based technology for USI’s ResourceOne program, a single-source solution for the employee benefits needs of employers.
The arrangement will allow USI to offer clients an employee benefits management and voluntary benefits purchasing system that includes online enrollment and administration applications. Beginning on Nov. 15, USI will use UltraLink as a data management platform for employer groups initially totaling over 10,000 employees.
In response to increasing employer demand for self-service solutions to traditionally paper-intensive administrative activities, USI plan to enroll more than 100,000 employees via UltraLink’s iElect online enrollment system over the next two and a half years.
