The Society of Environmental Insurance Professionals (SEiP) is presenting the “Environmental Insurance Forum” on Sept. 6-7 at The Wilshire Grand in Los Angeles. The conference will focus on solving the environmental risk financing needs of internal and external customers through innovative uses of insurance.
The Environmental Insurance Forum is a one-and-a-half day event that provides educational and networking opportunities for the attendees. Day 1 begins with building a basic understanding of the environmental insurance industry and the environmental risks associated with various industries. The day concludes with sessions conducted by the leading environmental underwriters.
Day 2 is focused on the functional side of environmental insurance. Attendees will hear from the nation’s leading experts on the uses of environmental insurance, claims strategies and the consultative approach to serving the needs of the customer.
The SEiP enables insurance and risk management practitioners, consultants, lawyers, engineers, contractors and lenders to better serve the environmental insurance needs of their customers. The vision of the SEiP, a not-for-profit organization, is to harness the power of technology and share industry knowledge to expand the use of environmental insurance as a risk management tool.
Most states have authorized 12 CE credits for this conference. Registration for the forum can be completed online at www.armr.net (click the Events tab), or contact SEiP at (877)735-0800 for a registration form.
